It's important to follow Alger County local ordinances, including those related to side-by-sides and snowmobiles. By doing so, you can help ensure the safety of yourself and others, as well as avoiding any potential legal issues. In the town of Grand Marais it is 25mph and over to the right as far as the road is maintained. You can drive on county roads. State roads are ticketable with fines and possible points on your license.
